Safiya Ravat, MA Pastoral Counseling
Safiya Ravat is the founder and director of Suhbah Institute. She attained her Bachelor’s degrees in Islamic Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh (Islamic Law and Jurisprudence) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and completed her Master’s in Pastoral Counseling in Marriage and Family Therapy.
She serves as the chaplain at the University of Houston MSA, and a lead instructor at the Suhbah Seminary.

Faizan Majid, LPC
Faizan Majid is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Ihsaan Coaching, Ruh Care and Qalam Care. His ongoing theoretical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Positive Psychology. He enjoys working with youth initiatives and is now focusing more on mental health initiatives in the Muslim community. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, and video/board games.
